The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) has completed investigations into three separate cases involving police services in Alberta. In each, the acting executive director reviewed the evidence and issued a written report setting out the findings and conclusions.

Calgary Police Service – July 22, 2023 | Report
ASIRT was directed to investigate a non-fatal shooting involving the Calgary Police Service.
Edmonton Police Service – June 9, 2024 | Report
ASIRT was directed to investigate a non-fatal shooting involving Edmonton Police Service.
RCMP in Grande Prairie – November 10, 2025 | Report
ASIRT was directed to investigate a non-fatal shooting involving RCMP in Grande Prairie.
ASIRT operates within the Police Review Commission, an independent, civilian-led agency that investigates criminal allegations and public complaints involving police services in Alberta.
